Military Sabre
Tuesday and Wednesday nights are dedicated to the Military Sabre. Our main source is Angelo's poster of 1799, along with various other British and American treatises and manuals from the Enlightenment through to the early 20th century.

Equipment: A wooden waster; a fencing mask is good but not entirely necessary.
Renaissance Fencing
Each month covers a different combination of weapons and defensive equipment or different national style. Beginners can start on the first Wednesday of any month.

Pugilism and La Defense Dans La Rue
Wednesday will be a split class having one hour attributed to the art of Pugilism or Bare Knuckle boxing according to the teachings of Mendoza.
The second focus will be on the art of La Defense Dans La Rue through the teachings of Joseph Renaud with Charlemont and Alliot as secondary sources.
A partial focus on fitness and technique will be derived from the work of Fitzsimmons and Fewtrell.

German Longsword
Thursday nights ASEMA presents with AS&S a two-hour training session on the use of the sword in the Liechtenauer tradition. The tradition stretches over 200 years and was practiced throughout central Europe, particularly in what is today southern Germany. The art consists of the application of a number of principles in a systematic manner, distinctive for the emphasis it places on keeping the initiative and controlling the terms of the fight.

Equipment: Gloves, a fencing mask and a padded jacket or gambeson are preferable. A wooden waster is necessary, though one can be provided over the short term. Everybody is expected to quite soon equip themselves with all of the above save the padded jacket.
Cost: $15 a month, with a few sessions grace to start off with.
